Maker: Geo.Tiemann, 63 Chatham St., N.Y., military surgery set owned by Dr. Martin S. Kittinger, 100th New York .

This set is green velvet lined, with one full lift out tray and a 1/2 tray lift out.  It has a Tiemann bullet forceps and cylindrical trephines as well as a tirefond.

 

Tiemann military issue set, but not marked as such on brass plaque.  Latches are sliding military type.
