by Ames. The hilt grip is very rare tortoise shell with gold wire
wrap. Notice the heavily chiseled gilded mountings of both the hilt
and scabbard, as well as the double helmeted romanesque
soldier/figures of the pommel cap and the cross guard

sword's scabbard drag or tip, which is heavily detailed showing
gilded spray of acorn/oak leaves. This is a medical theme, and
during present times the oak leaf and acorn represents the medical
service |
