HAMILTON FRANK H, MD,  Professor of Surgery in the Long Island College Hospital; A PRACTICAL TREATISE ON FRACTURES AND DISLOCATIONS,  Second edition revised and improved In one large and handsome octavo volume of over 750 pages with nearly 300 illustrations.  The early demand for a new edition of this work shows that it has been successful in securing the confidence of the profession as a standard authority for consultation and reference on its important and difficult subject.  In again passing it through the press the author has taken the opportunity to revise it carefully and introduce whatever improvements have been suggested by further experience and observation.  An additional chapter on Gun shot Fractures will be found to adapt it still more fully to the exigencies of the time.
