Ambrosia

18-24 navels, peeled and sectioned

1 large can crushed pineapple, undrained

½-1 cup sugar (optional)

1 (3-ounce can) Bakers Angel Flake Coconut

Combine orange sections, pineapple with juice, and coconut (if desired.) Taste, and if not sweet enough, add sugar. Refrigerate until very cold. Can serve topped with whipped cream and maraschino cherry if desired.

NOTE: This is my grandmother’s recipe for ambrosia. She used to make it in two batches, as some of the children didn’t like coconut. I eliminate the sugar, as I think it is sweet enough without it. And I always use the Dole crushed pineapple in its own juice.
