Asparagus with Sour Cream
Snap off tough ends. Cook, covered, in boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes and drain. Arrange in serving dish and keep warm. Stir together sour cream, cheese, and mayonnaise. (I added a handful of almonds). When heated together, pour over warm asparagus and serve. NOTE: I needed a last minute vegetable and had a 15 oz. can in my pantry. I halved the topping recipe and threw in the almonds. We both really liked the flavor. I found it in my 1983 Southern Living Yearbook! |
