Asparagus with Horseradish-Sour Cream Sauce

bullet

1 lb. fresh asparagus

bullet

½ cup sour cream

bullet

½ teaspoon garlic salt

bullet

1 tablespoon horseradish

bullet

1 ½ tablespoons butter

bullet

¼ cup crushed Ritz

Steam asparagus until crisp and tender, from 6-10 minutes. Drain and place in baking dish.

Mix sour cream, garlic, salt, and horseradish; spread over asparagus.

Melt butter and add to crushed Ritz. Spread over asparagus. Broil until crumbs are browned.

NOTE: I got this recipe from the Tampa Treasures Cookbook. I did use light sour cream and Ritz crackers instead of the called for bread crumbs. I served it with blackened shrimp and roasted new potatoes with sage.
