BBQ Shrimp

2 pounds shrimp, cleaned

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon salt

bullet

½ cup salad oil

bullet

¼ cup soy sauce

bullet

½ cup lemon juice

bullet

3 tablespoons parsley

bullet

2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

½ teaspoon pepper

 

Put shrimp into shallow dish. Combine marinade and mix well. Pour over shrimp and cover and refrigerate 2-3 hours (or overnight).

Grill 3-4 minutes per side over medium heat.

NOTE: I found this recipe years ago but I’ve no idea where unless it was Southern Living. That was my magazine of choice for many years back then. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp!
