Berry Banana Smoothies

bullet

1 ½ cups vanilla yogurt

bullet

2/3 cup orange juice

bullet

2 medium ripe bananas cut into chunks

bullet

1 cup halved fresh strawberries

bullet

2 teaspoons honey

Put fruit in the freezer and freeze it. Place yogurt, orange juice, and honey in the blender and turn on high. Drop frozen fruit down into the blender as it runs, a few pieces at a time, until all are in and the smoothie is thick.

Pour into two large glasses and drink.

NOTE: This is from the August/September 2004 TASTE OF HOME. The recipe called for either plain or vanilla yogurt. I used Publix Light Fat Free Vanilla Yogurt and Tropicana Orange juice. The recipe does not call for freezing the fruit, but I did it both ways and it was much colder, smoother, and creamier with the fruit frozen than when it was not.
