Bread with Parmesan Butter

bullet

1 loaf Pepperidge Farm Hot and Crusty Bread

bullet

1 stick butter, softened

bullet

1 (3 oz) container grated Parmesan cheese

Mix butter and cheese together, thoroughly. Slice one loaf of the bread and spread generously on each side with the butter mixture. Enclose in foil and bake for one hour at 350.

NOTE: I got this recipe from my daughter. She said it is best with the Pepperidge Farm Bread and NOT a fresh loaf. If you live in Ft. Myers, the only place I could find it was the Publix by Gulf Harbor. The package contains two loaves of bread, but the above recipe is just for one of them. Also, the package says it bakes "crusty" in 15 minutes, but I checked with my daughter and this is supposed to bake for one hour. So I did, and it is truly excellent!
