Chicken Piccata

2 skinless and boneless chicken breasts

season salt and garlic powder to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

bullet

1/4 cup white wine

bullet

2 tablespoons capers

bullet

juice from one lemon

bullet

1 tablespoon butter

Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add breasts and brown 4-5 minutes per side and then set aside in casserole under foil.

To make the sauce, reheat the skillet over medium heat. Add the wine and reduce for 2 minutes or so, stirring constantly to scrape the brown bits off the bottom of the pan. Stir in the capers and lemon juice. Remove from heat and add the butter, stirring until melted. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve.
