Chocolate Trifle

bullet1 box of chocolate cake mix
bullet1 large (3.9 oz.) package Chocolate Jello instant pudding
bullet1 ½ cups milk
bullet½ cup Kailua
bullet2 (8 oz) containers Cool Whip
bullet6 Heath bars frozen and then crushed inside the wrappers

Bake the cake according to the directions on the box in a 13 x 9" pan.

When cool, cut into 1" squares. You will NOT use the entire cake.

Make the instant pudding using the milk and Kahlua in the proportions specified.

Be sure the Cool Whip has been thawed and the Heath Bars frozen and crushed.

In a glass bowl make at least two layers using cake, pudding, cool whip, and heath bars in that order.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

NOTE: This recipe came from the "Tampa Treasures" cookbook. You can make as many layers as you want, depending on the size of your glass dish, but the recipe specifies two layers. It is simply wonderful!!!!!
