Cobb Salad
Layer lettuce on a plate.
In sections on the lettuce place the following:

2 strips crumbled bacon |
|
Hearts of Palm |
|
Thinly sliced grilled chicken breast |
|
Sliced hard boiled egg |
|
Slices of avocado |
|
Gorgonzola cheese |
Top with dressing of choice and serve.
NOTE: This is what I get generally when I eat lunch at the club after tennis. It is a wonderful salad and I always get the balsamic vinaigrette for it, although a friend gets the honey mustard and likes it that way. They put blue cheese on it at Heritage, but I use Gorgonzola at home, as we prefer that.
There is a marinade I use for grilled chicken breasts that is elsewhere on the website. (Grilled Chicken Salad with Spiced Pecan Dressing.) It is fantastic!
