Corn (microwaved)

Butter |

Fresh ground pepper |
Cut corn off cob and put it into bowl. Top with chunks of butter (onion if you like it) and fresh ground pepper.
Microwave for two minutes PER EAR. Stir well and then microwave for another minute.
NOTE: I got this recipe years and years ago from a friend in Mt. Dora whose husband grew Silver Queen corn in Zellwood (in addition to being a crop duster!!!). It was a favorite of my children and I liked the fact that I could do it ahead of time and there was no mess at dinner time!
