Fruit Crème Parfaits
| 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
| 1 (7 ounce) jar Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Crème |
| 4 teaspoons Amaretto, optional |
| 1 teaspoon almond extract, optional |
| Strawberries (sliced) and blueberries |
Thoroughly mix cream cheese, marshmallow crème, amaretto, and almond extract. Cover and refrigerate until cold.
In parfait glasses, layer fruit and cream cheese mixture, alternating layers and ending with a "design" of fruit on the top. Refrigerate until time to serve.
NOTE: I found a recipe on the Kraft Web Site calling for mixing cream cheese and marshmallow crème and layering it with the fruit. There is a recipe elsewhere on this site for a fruit dip which is also made with those two ingredients but which also calls for the amaretto and almond extract. I chose to add that to the mixture and then layer it with fruit in wine glasses. It is very pretty and very good! And so very, very easy!!!!!
