Grilled Bacon, Cheese, and Tomato Sandwich

Swiss or Jarlsberg cheese slices

Tomatoes, thinly sliced

Dried Basil

Salt and Pepper

Honey mustard

bullet

3 slices cooked bacon per sandwich

 

Spread mustard (or condiment of your choice) on two slices of bread. Layer evenly with a slice of cheese, tomato, salt, pepper, dried basil, three bacon slices, and another piece of cheese.

Butter and grill sandwiches.

NOTE: This is another recipe I got from my godchild out in San Diego. It did not call for the mustard, but we like it on our sandwiches. I either use honey mustard or a spicy one for our sandwiches, as it is our preference. I also chose to use baby Swiss cheese, as I keep it in the refrigerator and we use it often for grilled cheese sandwiches.
