Hot Peanuts
Cook crushed red pepper in hot oil in a 12" skillet for one minute. Stir in garlic and peanuts. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, five minutes. Remove from heat and sprinkle with salt and chili powder. Drain on paper towels and cool completely. Store in an airtight container. NOTE: I found this in Nov. 2000 Southern Living. I used two tablespoons red pepper. Hot! Very good to keep around just as a snack!!! And so very easy! |
