London Broil
Marinade:
| 1 teaspoon grated lemon |
| 1/2 cup lemon juice |
| 2 tablespoons sugar |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt |
| 1/2 teaspoon oregano |
| 1/8 teaspoon pepper |
| 2 tablespoons soy sauce |
Place 1/2 thin sliced onion in bag or tupperware; add meat and other half onion; pour marinade in and turn bag several times. Sit overnight in refrigerator o 2 hours at room temperatuve.
Remove steak and partially dry it.
Drain onions and saute them in one tablespoon butter and the sauce.
Broil or grill meat as desired and slice across the grain. Pour some sauce from onions over it and serve the rest on the side.
