Poppy Seed Fruit Salad

bullet

¼ cup honey

bullet

¼ cup limeade concentrate

bullet

2 teaspoons poppy seeds

bullet

1 cup strawberries, quartered or halved

bullet

1 cup pineapple chunks

bullet

1 cup fresh blueberries

bullet

1 cup cubed seedless watermelon

In a bowl, combine the honey, limeade concentrate, and poppy seeds. In a serving bowl, combine the fruit. Drizzle with dressing. Toss gently to coat. Sprinkle with almonds. Serve with slotted spoon.

NOTE: This is from the April/May 2004 Taste of Home magazine. I did not use blueberries because I refuse to pay $4 for 4 ounces of them! I used green seedless grapes, and they were quite good. I served it with the Crunchy Tuna and Almond Salad and it made a nice and refreshing lunch for a hot day! I did forget the almonds, as they weren’t listed in the "ingredients" so I didn’t think of them when I took it out of the refrigerator and served it.
