My Hero Submarine Sandwich Mix

Split open rolls, squeeze butter around them, and broil until toasted.

Brush toasted rolls with mustard. Top with ham, then cheese, which has been cut into strips, and broil until cheese is melted.

Toss lettuce, tomato, and onions in bowl. Season with garlic salt and mix thoroughly with My Hero Mixture. Place mixture on top of cheese, close sub together as best as possible, and serve with salsa flavored kettle chips.

NOTE: l absolutely loved this and I needed to tell you exactly how I did it. I always use Boars Head meat in the deli and I get 1/3 lb. to split between the two of us for sandwiches. (When Publix makes subs they use 1/3 lb. PER SUB.) I also use their cheese. I had a little bit of lettuce and a little bit of spinach, so I put it together and cut it into strips. I chopped a tomato and sliced onion very, very thin and chopped it also (since he doesn't like raw onion but will eat it if he doesn't know he is! J ) I seasoned the vegetables with lots of garlic salt and then used the "My Hero" mix. You can find it in Publix in with the salad dressings. Its in a squeeze bottle with a tip covered in red. The Kettle Chips you can find in the health food section right by the produce department in the Publix in Royal Palm. The new one on College carries every flavor except the salsa. We've tried several and the salsa is his favorite.
