Swiss Tuna Melt

bullet

1 (6 ounce) can light water-packed tuna, drained

bullet

¾ cup shredded Swiss cheese

bullet

¼ cup sour cream

bullet

¼ cup mayo

bullet

¼ cup EACH chopped onion and celery

bullet

Salt and Pepper to taste

In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Spread over four slices of bread. Grill on griddle or skillet about 4-5 minutes per side, until lightly toasted.

NOTE: This is from the TASTE OF HOME April/May 2006. It called for one-half cup, each, of the sour cream and mayo. I cut that down to one-quarter cup, each, and didn’t use all of it. I just do not like soggy tuna salad OR coleslaw! And I made only two sandwiches and not four, as stated. They were sort of full, but we didn’t care! I served it with the Pineapple Coleslaw also in this issue.
