Banana Pancake from Greystone Inn Wilmington NC

Serves 16 375 degrees

1 Cup butter

2 Cups Maple Syrup

8 Bananas slice about 1 inch thick

3 cups chopped pecans

bullet

2 packets Martha White Banana Nut Muffin Mix

bullet

2 cups Bisquick

bullet

2 eggs

bullet

2 cups milk

Melt ½ cup butter with one cup of male syrup in each medium 10 inch skillet, then remove from heat.

Cover each skillet with half the bananas in one layer and 11/2 cups of chopped pecans.

In another bowls mix 2 batches of the Martha White mix, bisquick, eggs and milk.

Pour the mixture into two oven ready skillets.

Bake for 45 minutes.

Remove from oven, let stand 15 minutes.

Flip onto a sheet pan with silpat, slice into 8 pieces and hold in oven for warmth until time to serve.

NOTE: A friend in Fort Myers went on vacation and had this and said it was absolutely outstanding! It would be wonderful for a brunch or something when you feed a crowd, or just cut it in half. Tons of calories, tho
