Gooey Chocolate Caramel Cake

1 box devil’s food cake mix

1jar hot fudge sauce

bullet

1 jar caramel sauce

1 (8 ounce) tub Cool Whip

Mini chocolate chips and mini toffee bits

Grease 9 x 13 pan. Bake devil’s food cake according to package directions. Cool completely.

Use a straw to poke holes in the cooled cake. Warm both fudge and caramel sauce in the microwave (about 30 seconds) and pour over cooled cake. Let the cake sit for 15 minutes so the sauce seeps into all the holes.

Top the cake with the cool whip, then the chocolate and toffee bits.

NOTE: I found this recipe at www.stephanieskitchen.com. It was very easy to make. The only change I made was to use frozen crushed heath bars for the topping, as I made it for my tennis team and that is one of their favorite toppings.
